Hurricane Testing OSG Doors

12/04/09

On December 14 & 15 we will be conducting hurricane testing on our doors and frames. I will be going to Tampa with the Engineer from OSG for this testing and I'll update here how it goes as soon as we are done.

We will be testing a flush 3070 unit and a flush 6070 unit for now. We want to start with these units to get a high psf for when it is needed. We will be following with other tests soon after this is completed. The next one we have planned at this time is a 4080 with a lite installed but we do not have an exact date for this latter test just yet.



End of year promotion

Updates and additions

11/06/09

I have added an Eagle Door Comparison to the Downloads page which shows the features of our "value line" Eagle Door (versus our standard Infinity Door) compared to the value line door of some other manufacturers.

I have also updated the Hinge Location Sheet on the Downloads page and OSG Nomenclature and Specifics on the Doors and the Frames pages.



Free Freight Offer

We are currently offering a promotion to new customers on their first order with OSG. This is only offered on your first order with us so if you have been thinking about putting in an order of any kind, now might be the right time to do it. As you can see in the details below, if you can make it 6 pallets ALL of the freight will be paid by us.

  • We will pay the freight for new orders of 6 pallets or more
  • We will pay 50% of the freight for new orders of 3 to 5 pallets
  • We will pay 25% of the freight for new orders of 1 to 2 pallets
To take advantage of this offer orders must be turned into us by 11/13 and delivery must be taken by 11/30.

I have updated "OSG Basics" on the Doors and the Frames pages which lists OSG nomenclature as well as shows what we have available and what we keep in stock.

We have also added a Hinge Location Sheet (listing all manufacturers locations to the hinge top and not the centerline), Installation Instructions, and a Door and Frame Order Checklist to the Downloads page.



Heading to Pittsburgh
